How do I sing with vibrato? How do I get rid of my vibrato?

Vibrato will occur naturally as the voice settles. Forced vibrato can make that wobbly sound that most people associate with opera. However, when the vocal cords are strong, and agile, the voice will take on beautiful, full resonance. Most people have never experienced this sort of resonance, and are often surprised when such tones emanate from their voices. The technical difference between "noise" and "music" is that music creates symettrical wave patterns, while noise produces random wave patterns. When the vocal cords are toned and healthy, they produce more symettrical sound wave patterns.

The very definition of power is knowing that you can change yourself. You can improve your voice by working on it every day. The voice is just like any other muscle group in the body...it takes a few repetitions to change some things; it takes weeks of practice to change others. It only takes a second to change your mind. Listening to great singers helps the voice change as well but donít copy them! Dedication and practice are keys.
